St Boniface Church, Quinton in Birmingham, recently hosted a vibrant International Evening celebrating the theme Culture, Faith, Family. Supported by a £480 grant from the West Midlands Racial Justice Initiative, the event brought together over 100 participants from diverse backgrounds. The funding enabled an inclusive evening filled with global dishes, cultural displays, music, storytelling, and opportunities for meaningful intercultural connection.

The grant covered food, promotional materials, participant gifts, and printed resources, helping create a warm, welcoming space where minority voices were honoured and community bonds strengthened. Attendees shared stories, explored one another’s traditions, and reflected on how diversity enriches the life of the church.

The event sparked renewed commitment to fostering racial justice, deeper belonging, and continued learning as a multicultural community of faith.
